Super Besse

In case you thought that "Super" was an adjective or an epithet related “Besse”, let me clear this up: "Super Besse" is the real name of a real place, “the best ski station in the Massif Central” according to Montagne Leaders. I would add: “also the only one”. Don’t mind the ironic tone :)... Super-Besse is a perfectly fine place, if you’re not searching for the wild vertiginous Alpine look. Sheltered by the mellow slopes of the Massif Central between 1350-1600 m altitude, Super-Besse is a great option for a Sunday hike between Christmas and New Year's Eve – or for a showshoeing initiation! :))
